Margaret Osborne is an experienced professor and accomplished academic administrator dedicated to creating engaging, informative and transformational learning experiences.

Margaret has taught Computer Studies, Sustainable Management, and Marketing in the Ontario College System.  Recently she led the development of a portfolio of degree and post-graduate certificates in Marketing Analytics.  She has been sought after as a guest speaker at colleges, universities, corporate executive training centres and conferences in India, China, South Korea, Uganda, South Africa, France, Denmark, and the United States.  Margaret was also delighted to support faculty in the innovative use of technology in her roles as Vice-President Administrative of the University of the Cayman Islands and Chair of Marketing at Seneca College.

Senior management experience in the pharmacy and grocery sectors - along with Management Consulting to start-ups and NGO’s - informs her professional expectations when selecting and using presentation technology.  Her formal education includes an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.  Margaret served a term as an elected Director on the Board of Canada’s Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) and is currently an Appointed Member at the College of Opticians in Ontario where she is Vice-Chair of the Governance Committee.

Margaret attributes her admittedly geeky nature to her love of experimenting with new tech tools but suggests her pragmatic business approach makes her particularly appreciative of “value-in-use”.  She shares the same low tolerance as her faculty peers for steep learning curves with little payback in existing teaching and learning solutions and is thrilled to spread the news about the practical user-friendly solutions that Presentria has to offer.
